David and Kerry announce
David and Kerry are very pleased to announce that we are pregnant with our first child. While it is still early days, it has now become very public knowledge and we thought that our friends near and far might appreciate a bit of a rundown on the situation as it stands and a quick squizz at the first scan of Baby Green.
As of today, 30 June, Kerry is thirteen weeks two days into the pregnancy and both mum and baby are doing fine. There were no major problems in the early weeks and Kerry even managed to avoid throwing up! (Thank God, she’s terrible when she’s sick!).
The baby is due on 3 January 2005 so a Christmas baby looks like a possibility. At the moment, we don’t know the sex of the baby. This first scan was done to check for twins (thankfully negative) since Kerry and I do have a lot of twins in the respective families. We’ll have a second scan in a month or so when they can tell us the sex, if we want to know. At present, we are undecided 
(which means Dave wants one thing and Kerry wants the other).
We are both very pleased and really excited about becoming parents, and your thoughts and prayers are very much appreciated.
